This I understand. Down the street came a car.

“This point I've already made.” 特に強調しないなら、普通の語順 “I've already made this point.”

"Normal: I've already made this point."
"Fronted: This point I've already made."

“Your concern I understand.” “Your concern understand.” や、「〜は」を主語と考えた “That excuse has heard many times.” “Your concern do I understand” や “Her courage admire many people” は間違いです。

“Such was the noise that we couldn't sleep.”(あまりにうるさくて眠れなかった)。

"Your concern I understand, but I can't help."
"Remarkable was her determination."

“On the hill stood the old church.”

(1) 動詞は普通、存在や位置、移動を表すもの(be、stand、lie、sit、come、go、run、appear)。 “Into the room ran she” は間違いで、“She ran into the room.” 「庭に彼女はバラを植えた」は “In the garden she planted roses.” “Down the street came a car” で、“Down the street did come a car” ではありません。

“Last night happened something strange.” ではなく “Last night something strange happened.” です。

"Down the street came a car."
"Out of the fog appeared a figure."
"On the hill stood the old church."

"That excuse I've heard many times."
"Round the corner came the bus."
"A delay I can accept, but not silence."
"Such was the noise that we couldn't sleep."

注意

✗That excuse has heard many times.
✓That excuse I've heard many times.

✗That excuse I've heard it many times.
✓That excuse I've heard many times.

✗This point have I already made.
✓This point I've already made.

✗This do I understand.
✓This I understand.

✗Last night happened something strange.
✓Last night something strange happened.

✗Into the room ran she.
✓Into the room ran the dog. / She ran into the room.

“That excuse I've heard many times.” 中立的に言いたいときは “I've heard that excuse many times.”

“This point I've already made.”

場所の語句 + 自動詞 + 名詞の主語(“Out of the fog appeared a figure.”)、be動詞の補語(“Remarkable was her determination.”)、such + be です。目的語や時の語句の後では倒置しません(“This I understand.”、“Last night something strange happened.”)。主語が代名詞のとき(“Into the room ran she”)や、do を加える形(“This do I understand”)も間違いです。

She ran into the room。

"What happened when you opened the door?"

"Out of the fog appeared a figure, just standing there. That moment I'll never forget."

"That sounds terrifying!"

"It was. Down the street ran three more people right after — I still don't know what was going on."
