  • La forma: will be + verbo con -ing (I'll be working, she'll be traveling), como “estaré trabajando”

“Mañana a esta hora estaré volando a París” → "This time tomorrow, I'll be flying to Paris." También “voy a estar volando” expresa esa idea, y en inglés "I'm going to be flying" existe igualmente.

Negación: won't be + -ing ("we won't be reachable"). Pregunta: will va delante del sujeto y be + -ing se queda detrás ("What will you be doing when I arrive?").

"This time tomorrow, I'll be flying to Paris."
"At 9am, she'll be teaching her class."

El patrón “this time…”

"This time next week, we'll be relaxing on the beach."
"This time next month, we'll be sailing across the Atlantic."

Un simple "Will you use the car tonight?" puede sonar más bien a petición u orden.

Un dato extra que te resultará familiar: igual que en español “Estará durmiendo” puede expresar una suposición sobre el presente (“seguramente está durmiendo”), en inglés "He'll be sleeping by now" también expresa una suposición.

"I'll be seeing the doctor tomorrow, so I'll ask her."
"I'll be passing your office later — I can drop it off then."

Ejemplos del inglés real

"Don't call at 8 — I'll be having dinner then."
"This time next year, she'll be studying abroad."
"What will you be doing when I arrive?"
"We'll be traveling all day on Saturday, so we won't be reachable."

Atención

✗This time tomorrow, I fly to Paris.
✓This time tomorrow, I'll be flying to Paris.

El presente del español (“Mañana a esta hora vuelo...”) no funciona aquí: para una acción en curso en el futuro necesitas will be + -ing.

✗This time tomorrow, I'll flying to Paris.
✓This time tomorrow, I'll be flying to Paris.

“Estaré” = will be, dos palabras.

✗At 9am, she'll be teach her class.
✓At 9am, she'll be teaching her class.

✗Don't call at 8 — I'll have dinner.
✓Don't call at 8 — I'll be having dinner.

Es casi un calco perfecto: estaré → will be, volando → flying. "This time tomorrow, I'll be flying to Paris."

En inglés, "This time tomorrow, I fly to Paris" suena a horario de vuelos y no transmite “estaré en pleno vuelo”. Para una acción en curso en un momento futuro, usa will be + -ing: "This time tomorrow, I'll be flying to Paris."

Si la idea es “a esa hora estaré ocupado haciéndolo”, usa will be + -ing: "Don't call at 8 — I'll be having dinner."

💡 Si en español puedes decir “estaré + gerundio”, en inglés va will be + -ing.

💡 “Estaré” = will be: las tres partes (will, be, -ing) son obligatorias.

💡 “Mañana a esta hora” + presente en español → this time tomorrow + will be + -ing en inglés.

Situación real: acordar una visita

"What time should I arrive tomorrow?"

"Come around six — I'll be finishing work around then."

"Should I bring anything?"

"No need, I'll be picking up dinner on the way home."
